This book's is about American Indians keeping their hertiage and rituals alive. The adults encourage teenagers to accept Indian traditions. This story is about a teenager named Crystal who has many skills taught to her by her mother who has died. Crystal's talent is weaving rugs for the traditinal Navajo womanhood ceremony. Crystal wants to be modern and all American. To her surprise her rug is stolen. Could it be because she left out the spirit line in her rug? She did not give tribute to Spider Woman and this failure causes all kinds of dreadful events happen to Crystal. Will she recover her ceremonial rug in time for the special day?

You have to read this book this year. This book is exciting, supenseful and fascinating.
